A worse day than the day Lennon was killed

For me, the worst public event was the day Lennon was shot. I was devestated. I still can't watch videos of the Challenger disaster, either. And I get sick when I see the towers fall on 9/11. The tsunami disaster, while horrible, did not come about as the result of people's vote. Today is worse.

It is more evil, and it involves more people dying.

This is one of the most sad days of my life. Although the first one was bad it made me angry, this one is just of saddness because the imbeciles that elected this stupid sob had his record to look at. It makes me grieve for the American's that were smart enough to vote against him and makes me realize that there are 59 million stupid, ignorant, and greedy Americans. Why am I not surprised. I am not proud to be an American today, I am ashamed of what my country is portraying to the world. This is not my America, my America stands for principle and liberty and justice for all. Freedom is definetly worth fighting for, the problem is we are not fighting for freedom, our soldiers are fighting to further enhance tyranny, greed and the reductions of freedom in the world. One World order for these gus, I pray for my country, I pray for my world.

3. I's worse than 911 IMO!

How many have died in Iraq-both our soldiers and civilians? And how many more will die as a result of this dictator both in War and Poverty.

In a way the people who died on 911 were the lucky ones. They never saw their country Perverted and destroyed by the Bush Empire.

Giving Peace a Chance, imagining nothing to kill or die for, power to the people, all you need is love.

5. Look at it this way: Republicans control all three branches of government,

and will inevitably overplay their hand. They'll bite off more than they can chew. They'll implode. They can talk about "mandates" all they want, but no mandate is as powerful as the will of hundreds of millions of pissed off Americans after they realize they've been hoodwinked.

Now that they're no longer burdened with the need to actually be popular, they'll get more flagrant with their abuses of power and their public arrogance. More and more people will begin to notice what you and I have known all along.
