ANSWER coalition national coordinator brian becker is speaking now. They have been alternating speakers with chants.Said the secret service denied them having a tent with transparent sides as a national security threat because it could cause a reflection. Volunteers stayed all night without any heat and will have to do that again tonight.

Woman from Kansas said Bush is killing people every day. Other speakers included a Vietnam Vet and talked about the war, Social Security.

Lots of protest signs. Bring the Troops HOme, War Criminals, end the war, impeach bush.

They're elbow-to-elbow without even an arm's length between them!

I've never before in my life seen a more "bullet-proof" limosine than the new Caddy's Smirk has bought. The damned windows, all of them, are at least two inches thick -- they make the glass at banks and other 'secure' facilities look like flimsy single-pane non-safety glass. Those damned limos must be set up to defend against RPGs and artillery! Unbelievable! (I remember when Harry Truman walked around in DC.)
