Now That Bush Has Been Sworn In, The Time for Democratic Unity Has Passed
There are several reasons why Bush won, Greenspan's interest rate policies, coporate control of the media, fear mongering, black box voting, etc., but the one factor that trumps them all is this: BUSH HAS NO OPPOSITION. That's why he wins. THERE IS NO REAL OPPOSITION PARTY TO THE REPUBLICANS. NONE.

It's now time to be honest with ourselves once and for all. Our Democratic leadership has sold us out to the same corporate powers that control the Republicans. Our leadership in Washington has the prototypical mindset of corporate middle managers who foolishly believe that if they put in their time and don't make waves, then they will get their promotions, pensions, and that corner office, and as well all know, they're traumatized when the HR department comes to their desk with a banker's box.

If you're a Liberal, like I am, and you're planning on staying in this country, you have to wrest control of the Democratic party away from the Washington insiders. Away from the Bidens, Libermans, Harry Reids, and Hillary Clintons of the world. These people have sold out Liberal/Progressive ideas over and over because they're not interested in being an opposition party. That's why they didn't say a word about the Diebold machines.

Also, understand something, this will be a generational fight. It's not going to happen by 2006 nor by 2008. It will take 25 to 30 years to put this country back on a Liberal/Progressive track. So, if you want to stay and fight, then understand that a lot of you may never, ever see the victory at the end.

1. The party is ours for the taking at the next democratic primary season.
Lets give washington a shot in the arm and show them that progressivism is the way to get votes in the future. Washington loves trends.

3. Not expecting to see victory in my lifetime but not willing to surrender
Hoping my daughter will live to see America fulfilling its potential with honor again.

DNC and DLC either makes way for leaders like Dean or they are no longer relevant, period.

Terry can stop sending those emails patting himself on the back and asking for $$. That part of the population which can be fooled with self aggrandizing BS covering for self-interest promoting ass kissing already votes for the other side; Terry isn't convincing the rest of us.

Dr. Dean showed us a way. The DNC showed him the door. Who ya gonna work for?

4. Our victory becomes more plausible as a sitting duck jerk president
enters his second term ...he will fail, fail, fail ...and we must unite and fight, fight, fight and be smart about it.

6. question is, in 30 years, what will be left?
After 30 years of global warming/war on the environment, increasing poverty, unpayable debt, and continuous war, what will be left?
China's actions are another consideration.
China will be at our doorstep within 15 years, with
an IOU payable in one hand and a modern military arsenal in the other.
15 years of war will weaken us to the point of collapse.
What shall we do when China, then the biggest economy and growing, comes calling?

I see a lot of change coming to this country, none of it good.

7. Very Little Will Be Left
But, for those that choose to stay here, this is what your future will be.
