Mind you, I am about as far from being as prude as one can be, but no child is in a position to consent to a lifelong sexual union with an adult! Where the fuck are her parents?

Actually, I don't see why anybody under the age of eighteen should be getting married. It is a very serious legal and emotional commitment, and it requires that you know who you are inside and what direction you're taking in your life. I find it astounding that the government permits it.
