TWEETY: "We (the American People) don't like these Hollywood types..."
TWEETY - as the coronation parade was starting up: "We (the American People) don't like these Hollywood types who announce that they're going to leave the country if their guy doesn't win."

Speak for yourself, Matthews.

I'm much more incensed by lies that cause the deaths of thousands of my fellow citizens than I am by a momentary outburst of a celeb.

And I most dislike shameless whores like yourself, who work 24/7 to see to it that all scrutiny and criticism is deflected off the "president" and onto irrelevant celebs like Alec Baldwin.

1. What a pompous ass. We're Americans. That means we can
live whereever our double visas allow us to!

LOL!

2. We'd like Hollywood types a lot better if they made a movie of
"The Plot to Seize the White House". Seems Bush relatives tried to have a fascist overthow of FDR back in 1930's but a marine corp general (ret.) Smedley D. Butler blew the whistle on it to Congress.

5. Aw, how cute! He thinks he has the common touch
Mr Matthews, here is the clue you've been looking for: you are in the top 10% of Americans, ranked by income. You are not a regular guy. Us regular guys and gals don't like YOU.

10. NO

And people from Massachusetts don't count either. It's OK for Chimp to rag on Mass during the election and its OK to rag on "Hollywood Types", but don't mention ANYTHING remotely offensive about assbackward places like Mississippi, who would probably vote to re-insstitute segregation if given the chance.

Playing a major role as a 'news commentator', with supporting roles from the likes of Joe Scarborough and Andrea Mitchell. Makes me sick.

13. Tweety was gushing over coke-snorter Larry Gatlin and boob-baring Bo Derek
and boob-grabbing Arnold Schwarzanegger.

Guess Tweety just prefers his celebrities to be offensive Republican HYPOCRITES.

14. I named my son after a "Hollywood type" who HAD to leave the country. . .
because oppressive, reactionary elements within the government took away his opportunities to make a living at his craft (Dalton Trumbo).

Maybe those in the public eye who might be signaled out in any "crackdown" on dissent feel the pressures to protect themselves more than those of us who will merely have our heads cracked in the streets. Or maybe Tweety's just cracked in the head.

15. The coronation was pure Hollywood Show.
I thought it was amazingly hypocritical for Bush to call hollywood immoral and play his coronation like an academy award gala.

17. I think this whole idea that a bunch of "Hollywood types" threatened
to leave the country is just an urban legend. The only one I know who said anything like that is Alec Baldwin, who is known for letting his mouth move faster than his brain. Now it has turned into half of Hollywood who threatened to leave. It's like the Al Gore invented the internet nonsense. If you keep repeating it long enough the truth no longer matters.

when Saint Ronald was president – Frank Sinatra, Jimmy Stewart, Bob Hope, & all his old pals. No one seemed to mind then.
