Michael had a run in with cops over a "leash-law" incident

but was not arrested, but conveniently a day or so later, a guy who SAID he worked for MM, was stopped when he DECLARED a LICENSED handgun while checking in for a flight. The gun was registered in several states, but apparently not the one he was in.

So we can conveniently see how the two stories can get "9/11-WMD-Saddamed" and morph into "MICHAEL MOORE ARRESTED IN GUN CHARGE".

We all know how effective our media is when it comes to ferreting out the facts.

8. He didn't have a license for a weapon in New York

He (a security agent who at one time had protected Moore) told a ticket agent he had a weapon and wanted to carry it on the Aircraft. When it was discovered his licenses were not issued or valid in NY he was arrested.

Moore was only peripherally involved in this story. Someone who once worked for him was arrested. Perhaps you refer to the police? They did what was required by law. They arrested a man who was carrying a gun for which he didn't have a valid permit.
