What does the defense budget (100 billion) pay for? * says 66 billion is

for support of the troops in Iraq....He means the support for the troops being paid to Brown & Root...I want a breakdown of the spending dammit.

1. The defense budget is more than $400 billion

and a signifcant chunk cannot be accounted for at all....

The result is that the Pentagon had nothing on site to protect the Pentagon itself when it came under attack on 9/11, and Andrews Air Force Base, just ten MILES away, had nothing at all it could put in the air to protect our nation's capital...but it does have THREE lovely championship golf courses....

2. He's asking for an additional $87B.

He says that $66B is for the military, leaving a mere $21B for reconstruction costs (this is for both Iraq and Afghanistan). Does anybody else see the obvious reason that we kick ass in wars and then fall on our face trying to "nation build"?
