China has always been seen as a major challenger to US power by the neo-crazies. It wouldn't surprise me if this was the start of something against China. In the months after 911, NewsMax was pushing the story about a book written by two Chinese army colonels that called for attacks just like 911 a couple of years before it happened. A couple of months ago there was a probably bogus report that China was sheltering bin Laden in their Western muslim region. It's strange how these sorts of reports crop up...
