Against the corporate orgiastic Bush coronation? You are a communist!
But one congressman has no use for complaints about corporate-funded celebrations.

"Anybody who is against that obviously must be a communist," says Rep. James Gibbons, R-Nev.

According to Jim Gibbons(R-NV), come on now Jim, nobody has dug up that old hackneyed expression for some time now. This guy loves to call people communists. What's next? Scallywags? Ragamuffins? What an idiot.

3. Many Republicans are good
at labeling us. They do it to distract everyone from the real issue, that we oppose the products of corporate greed: poverty, war and death.

5. Communist? Again?
These spineless excuses for anachronisms practically froth at the mouth and trip over each other to get the c word labelled on us.

Dehumanization, quite often the first thing they spring to.

11. WalMart is communist. They suport them financially.
They will sell anything to anybody as long as they make money. They will sell our country to China for the bottom line.

Gibbons (how fitting a name), should take a trip to China to see our corporations love affair with Communist China.

He obviously is oblivious to the fact alot of that corporate money and profit was made possible by little commies working in a polluted Hell-hole outside any Chinese city.

12. Gibbons must not have gotten the memo
Throwing out the "commie" term is so 1960s. This is 2005. You're supposed to accuse everyone you don't like of being a "French-loving terrorist".

14. Sent Mr. Gibbons an email
Apparently only folks from Nevada zip codes can email this guy. Oh well, since I'm a pinko, I lied.

Text of email:

"Just wanted to let you know, after reading your quote in the MSNBC article, "Corporate cash backs Bush inaugural bash," that you're right, I must be a communist. Thank you for your insight, I thought I was just of sound moral judgement. I suppose overconsumption, preferential treatment and excess during war time is only something Republicans are capable of."
