Anyone else see the CLINTONS nodding in agreement during the speech?
I just watched the replay on C-span and they cut to Bill and Hillary several times during the speech...They were listening attentively, and it even showed them nodding and beginning to clap after a few of the most "neo-con"-ish parts of the speech. I'm sure our senators did too. I was very disappointed.

1. I didn't watch TV for this reason.
Neither of them will ever get my vote, anyway.

2. It's called digital editing
even the the gomers at cspin know how to piece together a good dog wagging.
They were probably trying to warm up thier hands. The speech was a bomb, even the most dedicated S.S. troopers were not jumping to thier feet in mass hysteria for chimpy chump.

3. coffee anyone?
for what it's worth, Hillary looked half asleep, I think she just nods to prove she's awake.

P.S. I didn't see Bill nodding.

4. I wouldn't put it past them to edit something like that in
I find it hard to believe that the Clintons would nod in agreement to anything chimpy says. And as far as Hillary nodding off, there was a pic posted here earlier of bush's daughter standing right behind her simpleton daddy--she was yawning her head off.

6. Actually its called diplomatic reserve
A good politician does not snap to judgement about a speech until they have time to consider it in its entirety. You park you emotional displays and lend you attention in a positive way. Later you may decide to make an issue of the speech or you may choose not to. It depends on what you believe can be gained from the attention or lost.

5. The daily show showed a clip, but there was music being played
that they were "nodding" with. I didn't see the whole speech though?

7. God I hope not...
I can't believe that even a single person on earth could accept anything that came out of the word hole on Chimpenstein's stupid face...

8. Maybe the nods weren't in agreement
More like, "Yep, we knew this guy was a tool. Wonder how many people are finally seeing it?"

12. Stone, Cold Politicians. They admire bush* for getting re-elected.
These folks are a clan unto themselves. The game of politics supercedes any ideology these people may disagree on.

15. I was thinking the same thing
Once they get in office, all ideals go out the window...Any posturing they do is just for show...to get re-elected. It's all about power to the bastards in washington, on both sides of the aisle.

14. The arm-chair psychology is getting a little bizarre here
But I'm curious what the correct response would have been? Maybe Bill could have stood up and screamed "Bullshit!" halfway through and threw and egg at W.

16. John Edwards
had the good sense to stay home.
Meanwhile Hillary was grooving to a rendition of Ashcroft's "Let the Eagle Soar".
