aol news on my opening screeen, I knew immediately it was thousands.

5. I taped some of CSPAN and MSNBC when they were showing tons of

protesters. Some reporter on the street for MSNBC said there were "hundreds of thousands" and that the anti-Bush crowd was "10-deep" along the path--and it sure looked it. My favorite CSPAN part was when they showed a split screen of the parade and protesters chanting, "George Bush, we know you, You're father was a killer, too." Then they showed Babs on one side with rows of protesters with "worst president ever" signs on the other and all you could hear was massive booing. Between that and the 84-picture "protests around the world" piece coming up on Yahoo--I'd say we've made a lot of progress on coverage since it all began. I don't even remember seeing anything on protests 4 years ago--and I am wondering if Moore's inclusion of it if F9-11 had anything to do with this year's stuff being covered--even if most "news" people underplayed it.
