Please To See The King.
Good morning, Your Heinous, and Shit O Goodness, wasn't that quite the spectacle in Washingtoon yesterday? Or was it Red Square on May Day? You'll have to forgive me, but it was kinda hard to tell the difference, what with all the cops and soldiers and snipers and missile launchers.

Boy howdy, King, you had that whole town locked up--a hundred fucking blocks sealed off to where a gnat couldn't fly through. But I reckon a tough guy such as yourself needs to show the world that he means bidness. And there was certainly no mistake about the message Fortress Amerika was sending to the planet yesterday: Don't fuck with the War President.

Nobody was gonna get close to you unless somebody ran their DNA first! You rode among your subjects in a Cadillac with five inches of armor and glass that would bounce a missile off. Big man!

But the Unwashed somehow didn't remember to be afraid of you; all your security measures couldn't keep the rabble from showing up to shout you down. Oh, the Imperial Media is doing its best to downplay the numbers, but you got to see something yesterday that your TV has been keeping from you: there are people out there who hate your guts. A lot of people. They don't think you got elected either time and they're pretty pissed at what you're doing to the Constitution. The scary part is: you can't keep them away from you. They'll go right out in the snow, through the metal detectors, in the face of the cops, to tell you what they think.

Maybe you better just stay in the Palace for the next few years. Maybe it's getting, shall we say, a little dangerous to go among the peasantry?

Well, enough of this unpleasant talk. Let's have a song! Majesty, I present to you Fogerty The Bard:

Last night
I saw a fire burning on
The palace lawn.
O'er the land
The humble subjects watched in mixed
Emotion.
CHORUS:
Who is burnin'?
Who is burnin'?
Effigy.
Who is burnin'?
Who is burnin'?
Effigy.
