Disappointing Republican Celebrity: Edward Norton

Was at the RNC party on Wednesday night and saw a closeted Hollywood Republican-- Edward Norton. Seemed a little embarrassed and sheepish when a surprised friend of mine asked him, "Really?" He just said "Yeah" and moved on to the bar. On a side note, he looked a little worn, though dapper.

4. Yeah
A Republican donating money exclusively to Dems. To Dennis Kucinich, for God's sake. If true, that is weird.

5. I think that there were all kinds of people at these coronation
events. I'll wait for further evidence. He certainly has contributed a lot of cash to Democratic causes and candidates...

3. Doesn't add up...
He's always given to dems (and he supported Kerry).

7. That's too hard to believe. He campaigned for Kerry.
"October 31, 2004

Edward goes door-to-door for votes in Reno

Yesterday, EN campaigned in Reno on behalf of Democratic presidential candidate Senator John Kerry by giving a speech at University of Nevada, Reno and knocking on doors afterward. It was written up in the Reno Gazette Journal in Celebrities campaign in Reno (which includes a pic). Afterward he headed to Las Vegas to do more campaigning for Kerry."

9. Maybe he figures if he donates over $70K to the Dems & none to GOP
...that no one will know?

I think this is an example of a Blog spreading rumor and not being based on fact....

Hey, I went to Clinton's 1st inauguration when I was still a registered Republican....I was representing Microsoft at the time...didn't realize that "Members Only" applied...

Did it occur to anyone that Edward Norton was there with someone? Some people, especially when surrounded by people at THEIR party that doesn't necessarily reflect their political views might not feel comfortable talking about those DIFFERENCES at the Party for the opposition.... sheesh...You'd think Wonkette would know better....
