Is the time coming when we either stop, or get stopped, from exploiting...
Edited on Fri Jan-21-05 11:11 PM by JanMichael
...each other and the rest of the big wide world?

As for me I'm tired. I'm tired of seeing us accept certain things.

War for instance, that's one thing I'm sick of.

Economic hell for those without means, I'm tired, sick, of that too.

The environment, what can I say? We depend on it, why not preserve, help, it?

What about the $100 pair of pants at a department store that paid some girl $1 to actually make them? Sick of that too.

Yeah, that dependance on other nations to support us by enslaving their native populations, that's just not cool.

I'm tired of us not acknowledging that people are better citizens when they're healthy, why not make us all healthy as we can be?

I also tire of us paying workers just enough to NOT give them a decent life.

I'm really tired of the the fact that our national "dialogue" is absent of the BIG picture issues, like the betterment of Mankind, that's a real bummer...

I'm tired of us degrading ourselves, others, for the sake of a dime.

Is it time?

1. Some of it you just have to do yourself for now.

2. While I was hoping to touch on a global scale, I've bookmarked the site.
I wonder if they deal with Costco?

5. I don't think it's a "Too Big" question
I think it is the essential question and I also believe that the lonely reply to your query has hit on the answer: Personal Responsibility. We all need to do whatever we can to make a difference in any one of the examples you site. Our government isn't interested in fixing any of this or is so misguided in it's attempts as to make one believe that they don't give a shit. All any of us can do is make the changes in our day-to-day lives that give us comfort of doing our part and lead by our example. IMO

Well it was a good question..Don't know where the folks are ...
Good seeing ya....
I really don't have an answer to that one. You are truly a deep thinker and I admire ya. I agree in leading by example as above poster stated. If we want change..we have to change....We are the People. People are so confused on who the government is. It is us, not the politicians.
