Protest Warriors Show Colors as Protest Punk (hahahaha)
http://www.washingtondispatch.com/spectrum/archives/000769.html

Inauguration Day in Washington D.C. turned out to much more exciting than expected. Protest activity swarmed about the city with a large portion taking place far from the presidential parade route.

While anti-Bush protesters had a strong showing for the day and vocalized their dissent, the seemingly silly anti-anti-Bush protesters organized by groups such as FreeRepublic and Protest Warriors did not fare as well.

One of the most publicized incidents of the day involved the Protest Warriors and their gathering dubbed, "Operation Hail to the Chief." According to the Washington Post, the Protest Warriors' event drew out a laughable 13 supporters. Unfazed by their lack of numbers, they moved forward with their mission to provoke opposing groups. The group "infiltrated" an anti-Bush rally with signs such as "Say no to war unless a Democrat is president" and "Not to brag, but Bush won, so shove it!"

Promptly, and some would argue appropriately, a leader of the Protest Warrior's group, Gil Kobrin, was on the ground getting his "ass kicked" as one witness stated.

3. Anti-war activist does not always equal pacifist.
The protest warriors are a bunch of fucking idiots who try to provoke this type of reaction. It's about time they get their asses kicked.

6. Protest Warrior Logo Naziesque
Compare their logo

with this Nazi poster

I would also call their logo homoerotic (not that there's anything WRONG with that!). They DO need to have their noses rubbed in it, however.

7. Funny thing is, I see this behavior all the time ...
Working with middle school kids, who take pleasure in activities such as:

1. Wearing NY Yankees caps in an area that predominantly roots for the Red Sox. One day one of the little darlings was running his trap about how much the Red Sox "suck," I politely asked him who he thought the greatest Yankee of all time was. His response--and I really do wish I was making this up--"I don't know. I haven't been a football fan that long."

2. This week, the same thing as #1, except minus gear and the "football fan" remark and substituting the New England Patriots for the BoSox and the Steelers for the Yanks. "Dude, man, the Steelers are gonna kick butt this weekend." "Oh yeah? What do you think of their rookie QB's chances against one of the great defensive minds in the NFL's coaching ranks?" Blank stare. "Dude, Patriots suck man."

3. Sitting in the area of the gym behind the other team's bench at high school basketball games, which is typically where the other team's parents and fans sit. They proceed to boo to other team, yell when free throws are being shot, and exhibit other variously rude behaviors. When asked to move or leave, they invariably say, "What? What'd we do? I can sit anywhere I want. I have free speech, man."

4. Taunting, teasing, and harassing other kids until they can't take it anymore and start to fight back--then running to the teacher and complaining that the other kid a. threw something b. said something c. hit them--all the while claiming innocence of any wrongdoing themselves, with such memorable lines as "I was just kidding" or "It's not my fault he can't take a joke."

I guess you can draw your own conclusions.

9. You point out a true microcosm of America
No thought anymore ..... just hero worship. Politics of personality. Penis size as the basis for debate. Absurd but absolutely real. Hang on to your chosen hero no matter what.

Sad .... very sad ..... Thanks Rush.

8. my message to Protest "Warriors"
(follow the "contact us" link at http://www.protestwarrior.com and tell em what you really think! it's fun!)

dumbasses, why aren't you in Iraq killing people so they can be "free" to have their next dictator appointed (in "free elections") by His Holiness Planetary Emperor for Life George Waste-product Bush? You, like he, are nothing but simpering cowards who would piss your pants and turn tail running home to mommy before you even got on the troop carrier out of the USA. Actions speak louder than words and we can hear the sound of you running away from his war--honest-to-goodness combat with real guns and bombs and things--loud and clear. How can you support his mad plan to conquer the world "for freedom" (sort of like Hitler's mad plan to save Europe from its monarchies) if you're too chickenshit to be one of his crusading knights? His rich CIA spook daddy pulled strings to keep the incompetent fuck-up from getting himself killed within the first 10 minutes in Vietnam--but when Bush's draft starts in June 05 will YOUR daddies be rich enough to get your cowardly asses out of it? Words are cheap but actually putting your asses on the line and signing up for what you SUPPOSEDLY believe in--the Crusades of King George--now that would take guts and you obviously got left out in that department.

By the way, in regards to the megalomaniacal idiot's rhetoric about "freedom": have you ever actually READ Patriot Act II? (you CAN read, right?) Some "freedom" the neoCONs got goin on for us down the road. But stay on the side of the chickenhawk hypocrites because you obviously lack the brains, the balls, and the inherent wisdom to do anything that would actually be constructive in the world.
