Let's hope that Iran doesn't subscribe to Bush* doctrine?
If they do, then we should expect an Iranian attack at any time. Just a little pre-emptive war. What a wonderful world we have constructed.

3. Wouldn't that enforce
in American's minds the "Axis of Evil"?

10. I don't think it will matter
and I think the Axis of Evil meme has been enforced in the minds of the North Koreans.

11. Now THAT would be a party!
Do they have missiles with that kind of range?
If Russia fed Iran and China fed NK, the US would be in
a world of hurt. Freedom fighters, emboldened by the
fight, would appear from everywhere to battle the beast.

2. nonsense
the shrub doctrine is that the banana republicans have the right to attack any nation at any time pre-emptively.

other nations and democrats do not have this right.

i think that was in one of his speeches somewhere....

5. Forgive me, but they have every right to.
Even North Korea admitted tha the US isn't the only country that has the right to use that form of defense...

On the plus side, every article I'd read said the Iranian leader had said they'd wait until the US attacks...

Also, do Iranian nukes have the ability to hit the US? Or just Israel?

And Iran would be better off politically if it waited.

I wish the folks in power here in the US would use some intelligence... I fear things could get truly nasty.

13. Unlike bush, I think Iran would attack first and talk about it later
I don't think anyone knows what Iran has.
One thing is for sure, if Russia is supplying them
in earnest for the fight against israel and the US,
they got some firepower. Enough to lay some serious shock and awe
on the theatre.

6. If they do you can well imagine the shock and outrage from republicans
"How dare they!"
"We didn't provoke the attack!"
"They attacked illegally!"

9. Iran already publicly reserved the right to
pre-emptive attack if they thought they were going to be attacked. Read it here on du recently.
