but not my cable internet connection?

1. My wayward daughter got rid of her cable TV service but kept the cable
internet connection. Evidently, they are separate signals. :shrug:

2. They share the same wire, but use different protocols
Imagine two sets of different data sent over the same wire. You've just lost one set.

3. it's "Wacky Wires " by Dumco
Once our internet worked but the telephones didn't....#2 is right=shared wires ???? all or nothing anything to do with telco or coax cable is a magical cluster f*ck. now you get to call the cable company ( they will be there between 7am-10pm) anyday you can't be home.....proof that since chimp stole the 2000 election everyday is a bad monday.
