Most Prominent Sitting Governor?
New Mexico Gov Bill Richardson or Michigan's Jennifer Granholm I would figure. But who do you guys think?

1. While I wouldn't call him prominent ...
...keep your eyes on Brian Schweitzer(D-Montana).

In a state where W won by more than 20 points, Schweitzer, with no previous political experience, won the governors race by a comfortable margin.

Previously, he was a mint farmer in Whitefish, Mt. During the primaries, he raised more money than the 4 competing Republicans combined!

It wouldn't surprise me at all to see him run for the Presidency in '08. My guess is that the successful, gregarious farmer turned Governor could win the Iowa caucus. After that, who knows?
