25. There was a piece in the NYT about how SNL's humor had recently |
|
moved away from politics and more toward celeb-bashing.
The "always" you are referring to (and which I remember) was a few years back.

Love the sign with the zero on it to demonstrate WPDs found in Iraq.
Audience seemed to thoroughly enjoy it especially when it came to Boxer pointing out all the lies.

Amy/Barbara Boxer's props were PRIMO.
The paper doll "people" who were fed (plate and fork) a bunch of "balogna."
Heehehehehehehehehehe!
Richard Lugar character: Is it going to be this way for the next four years?
Boxer and Kerry characters: Yes, yes it is!
Damn STRAIGHT!

Sorry I missed the Condi skit. Their opening skit was a spoof of Jenna and Barbara, which was funny. After that I turned to another channel.

who was in 'Sideways', he was the host and Luducris (sp) was musical guest.

I also liked the opening sketch, which was drunken Jenna and Barbara after the inaugaration festivities. Bush: "I'm gonna tell Laura to tell the chef to make some more of that crème brulée, or as I like to call it, 'freedom pudding'".

29. Does anyone remember the song 'Kerry' said Bruce Springsteen |

was going to sing for him at the inaugural party? I believe it's a Bruce song with 2 words and he was going to change one of the words to Kerry.
