We can only hope that Dr. Dobson doesn't pick up on the resemblance. SpongeBob, as his song goes, "lives in a pineapple under the sea/absorbent and yellow and porous is he!" SpongeBush lives in a bubble in D.C./absorbent and shallow and porous is he!...

Mr. Bush might have thought he was just blowing pretty bubbles full of lofty ideals about freedom and liberty in his speech, but Mr. Cheney and the neocons seem intent on filleting Iran and Syria. (Doesn't Richard Perle remind you of the snarky and pretentious next-door neighbor to SpongeBob, Squidward Tentacles?)...

Even if he's a little light in the flippers, SpongeBob has brought children good, clean fun. SpongeBush has brought the world dark, endless fights.

1. Maybe it's one of those Phychological Things...

SpongeBob is the tone of "yellow," hence SpongeBush must rid the world of SpongeBob as he's a constant reminder of his bad-karma self.

I tell you. Don't get me started on those NEOCON'S. Freepin' sickos! Most everyone I know thinks he's NUTS! I can't believe an impeachment hasn't taken place yet... SpongeBog, can you imagine them going after him! Un-flipped real!

Don't even have to go to his site to guess that Dobson's having a pledge drive to "fight this outrage"... am I right? I used to think Dobson was the idiot, then I realized- the bigger idiots are his followers who send him the money. "Oh, Betty- forget about paying that darn electric bill. Dr. Dobson says that unless we send him $100, the schools will be playing homosexual Spongebob Squarepants videos! You bring me my checkbook, I'll run and get the instructions on how to block that channel off the tv!".

Honestly, I've successfully avoided Spongebob and all other children's programming since my own kids grew up; the closest I've been to watching a cartoon character is being in the same house while they watched The Simpsons or South Park, so I haven't a clue about Spongebob.

But I'll watch, if the song's good. I could happily go through my day humming SpongeBush lives in a bubble in D.C./absorbent and shallow and porous is he! under my breath.
