My faith is important to me and I can't find a church I feel comfortable in. I'm rather down on organized religion in general right now. I'm certainly not benefitting if the sermon is pissing me off.

We're as valid as the Xians, but we risk seeming every bit as intolerant with some reactions to this kind of story.

Of course, "this kind of story" and our reactions to it aren't going to stop until the decent, moral, progressive Christians do a bit of house-cleaning, but all we can and should do is ask.
