1. Honor thy father and mother--not just for individuals but for nations
Social Security--a question of dignity for when time has taken so much.

3. I like!
I've been trying to come up with a simple phrase on SS to use as a window sticker in my car. This may be it!

4. Enron Insurance
preventing financial disaster when companies lie to you about how great they are.

Mother In Law Insurance: making sure she'll have an income floor so that she won't be forced to move in with you.

Clean Streets Insurance: making sure our streets are uncluttered by all the elderly sleeping in doorways and eating out of your garbage cans.

(hey, I'm just trying to appeal to selifsh, 20 something Randorrhoids)

6. Well, that's really what lies behind my meme, anyway.
Family value in this case turns their own language against them, and takes it for what Social Security really does; allow the elderly to live on their own for as long as their physical and mental faculties allow. It helps to preserve their dignity and yes, preserves families.

7. I completely agree, but we're out to frame the debate…
…and generic slogans are well-worn and familiar. You've got to get visceral.
