Description: "What We Do Now" is a collection of essays written by progressives in response to George Bush's victory in the November presidential election. It was edited by Dennis Loy Johnson and Valerie Merians of Melville House Publishing. From New York City's Cooper Union, four contributors participate in a panel discussion about the future of progressivism in the U.S.: Greg Palast, author of "The Best Democracy Money Can Buy," Harper's magazine publisher John MacArthur, author of "The Selling of 'Free Trade': NAFTA, Washington, and the Subversion of American Democracy," Esther Kaplan, author of "With God on Their Side: How Christian Fundamentalists Trampled Science, Policy, and Democracy in George W. Bush's White House," and Robin Morgan, author of "The Demon Lover: The Roots of Terrorism."

I also notice that there is a speech by Perkins, author of Confessions of an Econmic Hit Man (a book that many are raving about) on at 8 pm EST estimated.
