Despite over 12" of snow, the parking lot is full at a local Iraqi Elect..
Just came back from visiting my parents, who live a block away from an election center in Skokie, IL (1 of 5 in the US).

Despite the crazy amount of snow we got this weekend, it seems like people are turning out (registration this weekend, and voting next).

As I drove by, and saw the families going in out of the center, my heart goes out to them. Despite my sour feelings towards the war, and * and his administration, I do hope for peace and resolution for these families and their relatives/friends back in Iraq...

the candidates when they register? How can they just go in there and vote without knowing anything about them? Sabra, if it's not long distance to call the center, would you be willing to call and ask if they're giving out any info about the candidates? thanks

6. And then clean up your house for a visit from the FBI
Don't you think that these voting locations are under extremely tight security and scrutiny?

10. This vote goes down as the biggest Joke in the history of the world.
Nothing will happen, it's just a vote for Puppet #1 or Puppet #2. Diebold will assure the US of the "right" winner.

11. Last For Vote For Saddam Before Invasion Was More Credible!
You are so right. It's so bad that the last vote for Saddam before the invasion, in which he received 101% of the vote, was more credible than this will be and there was a lot less bloodshed.
