Paul McCartney Superbowl Halftime Show |
|
So - will a 'wardrobe malfunction' give us all a look at Paul McCartney's penis?
Or will all performers be wearing burkas to conform with FCC decency standards?

1. God I wish he would retire |
|
If we're lucky, he won't sing "Freedom."

I, too, hope he doesnt sing Freedom; Maybe he'll sing songs about his beloved ex-wife... or does the girl he married so soon after she died not like that?

4. Linda isn't his ex-wife, per se. She's his late wife. |
|
I think that's what you meant. Heather Mills McCartney (as she likes to be known) would have none of that (singing any song about Linda); Macca's whipped.

5. You obviously didn't see his Back in the US tour DVD. |
|
He specifically refers to Linda -- and sings My Love. He also sings a song he wrote about his love for John Lennon, and sings "Something" for George Harrison. During the tours, Paul's keyboard player has lava lamps and Linda's scarves around him in her memory.
Heather Mills McCartney has said that she is not jealous of Paul's love for Linda because Linda made him the loving, caring man that he is.

10. Why do you care about his relationship with his wife? |

Linda's dead. I hope he's happy.
I just don't understand people giving a shit who anybody marries. God, I remember the flak John Lennon took for marrying Yoko.
And I don't understand all the crap that's thrown at Macca about his music. He's been writing the same kind of stuff after the Beatles that he wrote during the Beatles. Listen to Martha My Dear or Your Mother Should Know or The Long and Winding Road or Golden Slumbers, et al., it's the same stuff, just balanced with Lennon's and Harrison's work.
George Harrison was my favorite Beatle, BTW. But I admire the hell out of Paul McCartney for his work with animal rights and the No Land Mines program. He's doing more than sunning and skiing at Monte Carlo.

12. I agree with you on his stand for animal rights. |
|
He was fighting the system way before it was popular for celebrities to do so.

14. I don't begrudge Paul the right to be happy. Linda also got |
|
flak for marrying Paul; I just happen to have liked Linda's persona better. She seemed more "real." I think Paul's personality has changed since Linda's death. His kids apparently don't like Heather. Paul's publicist, Geoff Baker, who was with his for over 20 years, quit, apparently because of Heather. What does that tell you?
We'll just agree to disagree.

6. I, for one, would rather hear "Why Don't We Do It In The Road". |

And Paul may not do "Freedom." He did it at the 2002 Super Bowl in New Orleans. And ... McCartney can't stand George W. Bush. He publicly stated in California last fall that he wanted Kerry to win the election.

Can you imagine?? Why Don't We Do It In the Road?? I love Macca, but don't think he has the balls to do that.
Check out this website (done by a friend of mine):
www.photos.mccartney.net
Info. about the 1/2 time show and about Macca if you're a fan. I'm a contributor to her page, too. :)

..."Happiness is a warm Gun" or "Bungalow Bill".
Hey Bungalow Bill, what did you kill, Bungalow Bill.
The children asked him if to kill was not a sin Not when he looked so fierce, his mother butted in If looks could kill it would have been us instead of him
