"There's a Rigidity, there." Boxer Said to Condi...
That phrase has stayed in my mind, since I watched the "Confirmation Hearings re. Boxer. "There's a RIGIDITY there."

I think that sums up the whole Bush Adminstration. And, in many ways the "Inside the Beltway Speak" of our Democrats for TOO LONG.

How do we break this "Rigidity?" I see it where I live. A "Rigidity" in Government, in our basic institutions. One calls one's health provider for "pre-approval" and one gets read a list of regulations one has to go through to go forward with any medical procedure which requires surgery or even the basics in health care, if what you are requesting goes beyond the "norm" for their regulations.

Then there's our Corporate Governence. When you are working hard to make money for your employer and he/she doesn't like the facts, figures, recommendations you are proposing..."there's a RIGIDITY THERE."

When we fax/phone/e-mail our requests to the FCC over Media De-Regulation (over 2 MILLION protests) and they ignore you..."there's a RIGIDITY there." When you hit CNN/MSNBC and FAUX Polls and the numbers are in favor of the Democratic Party View and they go ever more RIGHTWARD....there's a "RIGIDITY THERE."

I think our whole society in American today could be described as..."there's a RIGIDITY THERE."

And, Boxer saw it...whereas none of the other "Inside the Beltway Minds" even gave it a second thought. Nor, did any of our Bloggers or columnists who are of a "Democratic Pursuasion" see it.

RIGIDITY....the way "small minds" think and operate. A "closing out" of "innovative and new ideas." A Rigor Mortis in America which goes into our Government, (local and state) and our Institutions, Communities and Churches...

1. rigidity is essential
to maintaining the 'trifecta' of hate, fear and ignorance.

keep it focused. to question is not only wrong, but unpatriotic AND sacrilegious at the same time.

2. What precisely are you accusing Democratic writers and bloggers of?
Just out of curiousity?

I mean that they didn't use exactly that phrase?

3. It's like this.... the rigidity is maintained in a climate of fear...
without which the rigidity would melt away and people would start to think again, rather than react to every little terror alert and color change that Ashcroft and Ridge throw at them. This is a game, the game board is the collective minds of Americans and the pieces are terrah, radical Islam, WMD, Dirty bombs, N. Korea, Iran, social security, tax cuts for the wealthy, etc. Such a lovely game... such a twisted game.
