9. I've always used this with fundie types

if they waffle on about about "knowing God" and "having a relationship with jesus" and try and justify their prejudices coz "god said so" I like to tell them that God spoke to me (fundies don't like denying god spoke to someone) and told me quite specifically that he likes gay people, pre marital sex and abortion - watching them spin around trying to find a way to tell you that you're wrong WITHOUT implying that thinking god is speaking to you is a tad insane is so much fun.

God is too general. "Jesus" is where you want to go with this.

It is more on point to employ Jesus' message to show how these phony "Christians" are using the Old Testimant rather than the New Testimant that they claim to hold dear.
