Yes Rush! There is a God! McNabb to Rush "$%&*-off"
Edited on Mon Jan-24-05 10:44 AM by maxrandb
OK, McNabb didn't say that, and I'm sorry if this should be in the Lounge, but I for one may just listen to the fat fuck this afternoon. I want to hear him explain why Donovan "the NFL just wants a black QB to succeed" McNabb is going to the Super Bowl. And why his "beloved" Steelers got "punked" yesterday?

Small victories Man! That's all I ask for...small victories!

 GET RUSH OFF ARMED FORCES RADIO! Hasn't the US military suffered enough? I support the troops. I "am" one. What's your excuse Rush, Hannity and Savage. Oh, and the Bush twins too. Come on ladies, lots of room for a couple of drunk "frat mattresses" in the military, or are you afraid you couldn't pass the requirements?

You know we expect our troops to be free of legal problems and be of strong moral character. Never mind, I answered my own question. You don't pass the test.

1. McNabb seems like a class act
and he probably wouldn't tell limbaugh to *^#! off, even though he'd be perfectly justified in doing so. Two Black qb's in the NFC championship says a lot. What says even more is that its no big deal, they are just qb's. I think it's cool that most don't make a big deal out of McNabb and Vick's race.

4. I Agree
Class Act all the way. With the Browns probable hiring of Romeo Crennel, there will be another black head coach.

Now, about that "ownership" society. I don't think there are any NFL, NBA, or MLB teams owned by minorities.

Still.....

I take special satisfaction in the fact that Rush (Jeff Christy's) subtle racism and bigotry was shoved down his throat.

Could not believe ESPN hired the bag of shit in the first place. Guess the NFL just was not ready for a flaming racist pig.

23. NBA's Charlotte Bobcats' owner is Bob Johnson of BET
he's the "Bob" in "Bobcats", get it? Then again, they're an expansion team that just started play this season, which just goes to prove your point.

5. Yes he handled himself with a lot of class when Rush made that comment
McNabb called a press conference (mostly to get it over with)and handled it with a lot of class. He probably is a really great guy-notice all the endorsements, companies are eager to have him represent them.

12. There Was Only One Black Quarterback in That Game
Edited on Mon Jan-24-05 10:36 AM by ProfessorGAC
The other guy is a running back. At least after yesterday, we can stop hearing about the "great" Michael Vick. After that performance, perhaps we might stop hearing about his ability until he's a real quarterback.

The Falcons got to that game on the strength of their defense, which puts better pressure on the QB in the 4th quarter of any team in the NFL. That has NOTHING to do with Vick.

Donovan would be one of my first 3 picks if i could choose any QB in the NFL. Vick wouldn't even be in my top 10, unless he agreed to go out for passes instead of throwing them.

Having the number 7 on one's jersey does not a quarterback make.

2. Let's not forget Rush's asinine comment about the Patriots
for acting too much like a team. He apparently feared they were a communist cell or something. What the hell were they thinking when they hired the drug crazed asshole?

14. he said WHAT
about the Patriots and team work?

god, this proves he's gone over the edge. Hating a team is one thing, but to disparage teamwork? the man's a moron!

16. I can't remember the exact comment but it was after the last ...
superbowl. The Patriots did not have themselves introduced individually when they took the field. They simply took the field as a team. Rush of course had to find something to say. Some way to spin it as an example of the scourge of liberalism. He tried to treat it as if there were something wrong with that. It was a ridiculous comment that I could find if I googled it for a half hour but it's Rush. Who cares?

18. Rush said it was "un-American" and implied it was socialistic
See in a entrpreneurial capatilistic system it is each individual for himself. Anything and everything must be done to further your own self interests so being introduced as a team makes them socialists. Get it?

19. A link to what that idiot actually said.
The controversy began on Monday, when Rush Limbaugh (a Steelers fan) declared on his radio show that "a lot of people are impressed with the fact that the Patriots are socialists." Despite New England's stunning victory, Rush stood strong against the budding workers' paradise at Foxboro Stadium: "I'm not going to get sucked into this feel-good, do-good, left-wing, socio-economic thing that tries to take away the individuality of the people on the team. . ."

8. Don't follow football...
...but if this reminds a few people about what a racist Rush Limbaugh is then I'm happy about about the game's outcome.

Sounds like the deserving person won.
