US 'terminates' Iranian website

Iran has accused the US government of ordering an American internet service provider to stop hosting the website of an official Iranian news agency.

The Iranian Student News Agency said no explanation had been given by the server, called The Planet, for its abrupt move to terminate the contract.

God knows the Freeps have reported us to the Department of Homeland Security already... This fascism shit really is getting out of hand. This is most worrisome.

4. I've been thinking of this too...
It's a very real, very creepy possibility.

I hope Skinner has considered this and provided for such contingencies.

I have little doubt the Bush regime would be perfectly happy to see the death of free-thought.

It'll be fun to watch the flood of irate posters screaming on other boards... there's no way they can find and arrest us all.

8. Shutting down a political party website is not realistic
To shut down DU would take an awesome shift towards facsism that simply
cannot occurr until they have outlawed oppositoin political parties.

Rather they will "disappear" individual members.. and we'll never know.

A bunch of the people signing are against the petition.

Except for this chucklehead:

His answer to:
Does freedom of speech include soliciting funds to murder people overseas?
Is:
What?

And his comments are:
These terrorist mfers should die. And die they will. Is there any better solution? Kill all of the mfers, and let god sort them out.

7. Umm...that was the weirdest thing
I've ever seen. Are ISP's "forced" to carry "terrorist" websites anyway?

9. Questions surround young American: Nick Berg
http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=125x11866

Interestingly enough,
a Canadian newspaper had PHYSICAL possession of the Berg video
on the day BEFORE it was released online by the terrorists.
