Remember Elian?

These people shouldn't get any compensation. All they got was a little pepper spray in the face. Protestors get this all the time, they are no different.

And that would stop the bastards from spraying US so damn quickly. Oh, and that articles says it was tear gas, not pepper spray - a whole different thing.

2. In Oregon it was ruled legal for the police to swab chemicals
like pepper spray and tear gas directly onto the eyeballs of protesters. There were some people protesting the timber harvest going on a year or so back and they had chained themselves to some obstacles blocking the access road. The police actually held them down and swabbed their eyes with agents. They lifted their eyelids and swabbed with cue tips dipped in pepper-spray and other similar chemicals and the courts ruled that was acceptable behavior by the police so I hardly think they will rule in favor of anyone other than the government in this case.

3. Miami legal system is thoroughly corrupt
Didn't they ever hear about Waco and what happens to Americans when they end up in a serious altercation with the feds? What a bunch of silly cry-babies! They were luckly they didn't eat a bunch of hot lead for breakfast. It wouldn't surprise me if the sissies get their way in Miami, and it could even be upheld by a Bush Supreme Court, he already has enough Cuban-American appointees in the cabinet and high levels of gov.

If Bush lets them get away with this lawsuit, I'll write off this good-for-nothing country for good.

4. Members of CANF and known dangerous terrorists
made up most of the crowd. These were dangerous people who were probably armed. The FEDS acted appropriately and the child was removed unharmed. Mission Accomplished. End of story.

Elian's 'pediatrician' was Orlando Bosch.

The Cuban connection for the Miami 2000 Election Riots was Armando Guiterez (sp?). Armando was Elian's spokesman.

Google both and you will understand that none of these people deserve a dime. Rather most of them should be in jail.
