2. James Buchanan wasn't very good either |

He preceded Lincoln, and the comparison obviously isn't pretty.

7. Doesn't Hubris Heaver get a vote. |
|
He sorta patented effing the vets and putting the nations resources into a few(very few)big piles. Then again, his policies rolled out the red carpet for FDR. That saves him in my eyes.

although he was a lousy president, and his cabinet was pitiful; to blame the Great Depression on him alone, would be extremely unfair.
Calvin Coolidge (R), and before him, Warren Harding (R), set the stage for disaster; it just hit during the Hoover years.
There was no excuse for turning American troops on vets in DC; immoral, and politically stupid to say the least. Illegal and possibly treasonous, at it's worst.
Anyway....FDR gave Hoover a shot at distributing food, and other aid to both the US and war torn Europe. Truman relied on him occasionally for his skills at organizing. But no matter however you look at, The Great Depression happened on Hoover watch, so he gets the blame. One thing for sure, he did very little to get the country out of the GD, his attiude was typically Republican,"Leave it alone, and it will balance out".
Obviously, that strategy sure as hell didn't work.
BTW: answer to original post: WORST PRESIDENT EVER!

3. When did he become president? |
|
I thought you had to win an election first. Supreme Court appointments don't count because that's illegal. Read the Unites States Constitution. Congress has the authority when questions arise about who won a presidental election.

absolutely no perspective here. I loath the man beyond reason. (I'm not proud of that) He's the worst, the bottom of the evolutionary barrel, a dangerously sentimental, overly religious idealoque, a hypocrite without the tiniest touch of true compassion (remember how he made fun of Carla Faye Tucker's pleas for clemency on the eve of her execution?), a crooked, incompetent businessman, a tool of the evil neo-cons- and I could go on and on. I have never harbored such intense feelings of revulsion towards a politician before, I hope I never do again.

 I never before in my 60 years understood how people could have such loathing. I do now.

12. I Absolutely Detest the Administration |

... but if you look at his history, it would seem that the guy is gullible and misguided (it sort of seems like the PNAC just picked him up and put him in the presidency so they could be in power). Not that being gullible and misguided in any way makes up for what he has done.
That being said, I think he is a horrible president (if you can call him that) and the rest of the people in his administration are _truly_ evil and self-serving.
