I look at two of my kids who are young adults and say, you know, if I were you, I'd be looking for another country to move to, because this one is becoming more and more fascist. I am VERY close to my kids, would never want them far from me, but when considering their future (especially with one being gay), I have to tell them, this is not the place to be anymore. It may again be some place worth residing in, but not in the foreseeable future.

probably ok -- but a little farther out is iffy, IMO. I think we need to guard against getting too depressed as it wasn't long ago that the south was lynching blacks, inter-racial marriage was illegal, gays dared not come out of the closet, and women were legally discriminated against. While I deplore the creeping fascism at home -- I am scared about the blowback from our international actions. One may take my liberty, but the other may take my life.
