What would you do about a dumb neighbor
Yesterday morning I noticed that our side of the street looked like a skating rink. Nothing but ice. As I walked into the house late last evening I heard pouring water. I walked close to the neighbors house and heard it and saw it coming out from under the house. I skated over there and knocked on the door and got no answer. This am I saw them getting in thier car and they look and point where the water is now squirting out from under the house. Then they leave. Now I don't know much about home maintanance but I know how to walk over and shut off the water and I know they do too. So bring your skates.

4. I'd call the cops
They are creating a driving hazard by letting the water run into the street.

11. They are real dumb now
and totally with out water. Water company man shock his head several times and shut em down. He said how the heck long has this been pouring. I told him I was aware yesterday am and he just shock his head, he said you mean they knew this and just let it pour and I said yes, but they discussed it some because I saw them chatting and pointing at it. I know the water man would have liked to say more but thought better of it

15. You could have my neighbors...
3 houses on my street have "hoodlum" teenagers. About 2 months ago, I was scared awake at 2 in the AM by the sound of screeching tires, booming bass, and yelling. The kids in my cul de sac had laid an ambush with paintball guns. Their target drove up, got shot, he returned fire and sped away only to repeat a couple more times.

I called the cops and said that there were people dressed in black and armed with assault rifles stalking the neighborhood. In about 2 minutes, the police sent 3 cars.

Whatever happened to hanging out at a secluded spot, drinking beer?

14. I had a neighbor who did the same thing once.
Except he didn't leave it running. After it had run all night, he came out and tried to shut the water off at the main the next morning. Trouble was that the water valve was very rusty. Rather than proceed with caution, using penetrating oil and such like methods, he opted for the bigger hammer method, specifically a sledge hammer. Broke off the valve on the second blow, causing massive quantities of water to roll down the street(luckily this was in the summer). It took the water company almost an hour to come out, turn off the entire streets' water supply, and fix his screw up.

Of course I wasn't suprised at this man's stupidity. This was the same fool who stole our neighbors grill in broad daylight, with me watching. He even looked over and saw me sitting outside watching him while he dragged off the grill. Yet after I busted him, he tried to deny everything, including that I witnessed what he was doing. Thankfully, his stay in the neighborhood was relatively short.
