Bush's approval rating in the low 40's percentage, anybody scared? |
|
You know the Rove spin machine is in overdrive right now working on the next diversion and perhaps the next crisis for America. The more I read about what happened on 9/11/01, the more I am convinced that it was not done by al-Qaeda alone. I get a feeling the next attack will be bigger than 9/11 and the they will try to convince us that Iran had something to do with it. Bush's overall approval rating is heading down the toilet so you know something is being planned.
Anybody got that :scared: feeling?
John

5. Well, so far they're pushing the Gay Marriage ban, but , no I'm |
|
not worried about an attack because the election is over. It's only the two years prior to an election where poll numbers matter. Quite frankly, I don't think Rove can move fast enough to stop the deluge that's coming. People are weary of all those warnings. More importantly, they're going to start asking whether there is going to be any negative blowback for going after the wrong country. If something does happen on U.S. soil, why wouldn't people believe it's due to miscalculations on Bush's part? Blowback.

wouldn't another attack blow a hole in the myth that Bush has "prevented" another attack from happening?
Or does it matter now that he's already in his second term?
I'm sure something's being concocted, let me say that though.

8. Nah! Too Easy To Blame The "Iraq Thing" |
|
Another attack would be the worst thing for their "permanent majority" plans. If that happened, it would be incredibly easy to spin it as the result of the invasion of Iraq and breeding new hostility toward america. The whole doctrine becomes an untenable failure and the rest of the agenda gets better scrutinized. If people really looked at the results of this crowd's agenda, the permanent majority is relegated to the dustbin of history. The Professor

9/11 achieved its purpose. There's no need for another one. What is important for them is to invoke the fear demon at opportune times.

--something will have to come to justify the draft. Noted two nuclear plants had problems over the last forty-eight hours. It's probably gonna have to be nuclear
On a lighter note, they are filing charges on Rumsfeld (and others down the chain) in Germany--he's canceled a planned trip--

What justification they'll try to come up with for attacking Iran. I keep hearing "Iran" more and more these days, kind of like the post 9/11 ramp-up of Iraq talk.

As long as he has the media and his advisors to spin for him, he can pretty much do whatever the Hell he wants. That's scary enough.

How can such a large percentage of the population vote for this idiot then *disapprove* of his performance? Did they not get a sufficient preview of his utter incompetence in the LAST 4 YEARS?!? I mean damn, clearly they're stupid enough to buy the bullshit, so by what measure could they possibly NOW be unsatisfied? Boggles the mind, I tells ya...

Maybe it's the fear thingy that is driving down his ratings.
As in "Jay-sus I am scared as hell about where this country is heading."
Looks like the chickens are starting to come home to roost.
Like I said before, this year should be like a long hangover from a binge drinking party for many sheeple who lined up to vote against two guys kissing, and wound up with DUHbya in charge!
"Whut the HAIL did I do in November, bubba??? Ooooh, my achin' head!"
If it's true that fear is driving down Bush's numbers, then only a POSITIVE result or series of positive results will bring them back up.
In that case, HE'S DOOMED!

would prevent this. It seems very clear they want to target Iran next; however, the whole world is forewarned that they have neither the ability to execute, nor a credible rationale, based on the experiences of the past 3 years. Such hubris could well be their downfall. At some point Bush and Rove may well be unmasked as being total delusional.

24. WHENEVER the frothing at the mouth homophobe rhetoric starts flying hard |
|
you know Bush is in trouble. Gay bashing on a frenzied level is the instrumentation Rove uses right now to detract, and successfully so. Just ask Spongebob.
The worse it is for the pResident, the louder and faster the mouths move about them god forsaken gays.
BTW, for all the devote Christian haters who are spewing forth vile thoughts about gays, remember, one of them is a child of mine, who I love and treasure dearly. Don't think for a minute that I won't stand up and mash you if you come for him...understand you heartless hypocrites? You will have to mow down one pissed off Mom to get to him. You will lose. And remember too, you will stand one day and be judged...again, you will lose. And I just hope you get sent to the hell YOU deserve, with any luck sitting next to someone with a sharp stick who pokes you over and over again, repeating "I told you so" for eternity.
Sorry everyone, I get angrier by the hour.

The election's over. With a compliant media he'll get a pass till he leaves. Doesn't matter if his approval #'s hit the 20's. He's still the prez.
