US Army Nazi-like Graffiti in Iraq is "Creating More terrorism"....
Edited on Tue Jan-25-05 12:08 PM by leftchick
At least that is how I read this. Isn't that just the most beautiful thing to leave on peoples' homes after you have raided them? Nothing like showing what american democracy looks like. It also has such a NAZI quality to it. Maybe rummy's SS unit designed it.

:puke:

A sticker that reads: 'Terrorism starts from...' is plastered on a wall next to a US army battalion graffiti during a raid conducted in the restive Iraqi city of Mosul.(AFP/Mauricio Lima)

Edit to add Mopaul's Nazi photo..

... and here are some of the folks that are being raided.

God Bless America!

1. like "death cards"
Reminds me of the scene in Apocalypse Now when Robert Duvall's Lt. Col. Bill Kilgore was tossing the playing cards on the dead bodies of the Vietcong. Why is there the need to mark one's territory like this?

4. That is a hallmark of war criminals.
The enlisted men need to resist the officers' bad tendencies.

Notify Stan Lee, maybe he'll sue.

6. It is. Brilliant idea.
I'm sure Stan Lee would be disgusted to learn that his properties were being used in the act of atrocities.

8. Lee is very protective of his copyrights.
Worth a try. Although isn't that "kill 'em all, let God sort 'em out" mentality central to the Punisher character? I'm not all that familiar with the comics.

10. Yes, of Punisher. But Stan Lee came up with Spider Man
With great power comes great responsibility.

I'm not sure of the extent to which he still controls the Marvel empire, though.

13. Yeah, and the Punisher was usually used as an antagonist.
Edited on Tue Jan-25-05 11:49 AM by Stirk
A misdirected, amoral anti-hero type of character. He gained popularity as a lead character as our culture started declining. Har har.

7. Hay, We are LIBERATING them
Edited on Tue Jan-25-05 11:41 AM by TWiley
..... from their oil reserve, and our little brown brothers should be grateful that their uncle whitey will manage their wealth and screw them out of their national inheritance while starving their dumb asses until they accept Jesus as their lord and Saviour.

What more could we possibly do for THOSE people?

Sometimes, I am genuinely ashamed to be an American.

9. Are The Dead Ones Liberated? Or Are They Just Dead?
It's all so confusing, liberating oppressed people who didn't ask for our help.

22. What are they punishing the Iraqis for?
That is the Punisher symbol from the comics. How brainwashed are our soldiers if they think this debacle is about punishing "evildoers"?
