3. Fantastic,
but we've got to keep the pressure on so that 49% goes below 40.

9. Yes, indeedy!
Now is not the time for patting each other on the back. Well, okay, maybe a little, and a few handshakes all around.

Okay, moment's over. Let's get back after this unelected fraud, this miserable failure, and work to get him and his bloodthirsty henchmen out of our government!

5. Shock
The mainstream media has given up groveling?

Maybe their praise of dubya was getting to be like the last season of the Sopranos . People are getting tired of it so they'll try bashing him to get their numbers up.

6. Call me a conspiracy theorists -
Edited on Mon Sep-08-03 05:48 PM by E_Zapata
I think this is modern day suiciding of bush jr. - a way to get rid of him.

The defense industry-owned media squawking about an $87 bill defense spending bill? Does not make sense.

The journalists grew a spine and a conscience and a tendency for truth-telling overnight?

Too good to be true. You know what they say about things too good to be true.

Plan B: Install Clark, a NATO/Balkans expert and proceed with the march toward the former soviet union = PNAC.

Bush's handlers had to have worked to make him look like a corpse last night. And Lady Bush announces $26 mill to make concrete slabs feel and look more beautiful in front of the WH the next day? After the country misses a heart beat over an 87 billion bill?

We should be very careful what we fall for. I hope I am wrong about Clark.

12. OK. You're a conspiracy theorist
Or "theorist." Maybe we should reserve the word "theory" for notions that actually have some evidence behind them? What "march towards the former soviet union?" All or most of the former Warsaw Pact states are already in NATO and are either in the EU or are waiting for membership. There's no need to "march" on Russia, which is at least a semi-ally and is at any rate no threat.

And please, listen to Clark's interview at <http://www.theconnection.org>. Time to learn that "military" does not necessarily imply "militarism."

7. Hey, did you see the picture on the front page of the NY Times today?
You tell me they couldn't have picked a better picture out of all of that footage, or at least have made that one look a little bit better. It shouted "Alfred E. Neuman Busted!"

11. They say don't eat in front of the TV
or else you'll get fat. Since I'm already kind of fat, I ate while watching the news and, boy, that was the best dinner I ever had.
