More people voted AGAINST * than any other incumbent in history.

I'd say Moore succeeded in educating a whole lot of people about the truth.

I wonder what the difference was of people who saw F9/11 and those that voted for Bush. Is this supposed to be journalism?

I don't think so. It was highly successful and the box office numbers are proof.

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Hollywood had a wide-open horse race on Tuesday as Oscar nominations pitted two hard-hitting dramas by veteran directors Martin Scorsese and Clint Eastwood against the charm of films about wine drinking, Peter Pan and Ray Charles.<snip>

Two of the year's most controversial movies fared poorly. Mel Gibson's "The Passion of the Christ" picked up three nominations outside the major award categories for cinematography, makeup and original score while Michael Moore's anti-Bush documentary "Fahrenheit 9/11" did not receive any nominations. <snip>
