1. Probably 5 years from now
From a fellow Pittsburgher - you probably know the joke that it takes Pittsburgh 5 years to catch up.

5. I heard that Thom Hartman was replacing her today
I was listening to Hartman and a caller from Pittsburgh said he was listening to him on WPTT and really liked the show. The folks in Pittsburgh don't know what their missing. Progressive radio would probably go over big there.

4. If it makes you feel any better, we still don't have AAR in L.A.!
Though I understand they're finally putting it on the air here in February.

And they've added a lot of new venues in the last couple of months. They're zooming in the ratings, so I would not be surprised if they also show up soon in Pittsburgh!

With Scaife-Mellon there, and all his Repug newspapers, I'm sure you are more than 'starving' for some true news! I empathize.

8. I'm not sure which radio station would do it, but it would be so nice to
have competition for KDKA's rightwing hate radio pigs Pintek, Honsberger and O'Reilly (didn't he replace Limbaugh?). Honsberger is the worst of the bunch.
