Texans wanted: verification of this murder story

Apparently this happened in a Texan city in August 2004. Does any Texan know of any news sources about a man (his real life nickname is Rusty) who was indicted of murdering another man who went after Rusty's wife. The murdered man was an ex of Rusty's wife.

Local news can be notoriously hard to find on the net, especially those of months to years ago. So just wondering if any Texans heard of this.

4. texas is pretty big

i havent heard the stories, those this year seems to be more murders than usual, will check it out. in the panhandle. dont miss with soemones wife

But we do have quite a few.
