If I were in Congress I'd demand that every technique Gonzales authorized be used upon him during the Senates publicly televised Q & A period. It's not torture, after all--more like hazing, we're told--so he shouldn't mind. Teenagers go through worse treatment when joining a frat or sorority, right?

The obvious benefit of this approach is that it ensures we'll get detailed, honest answers from him.
