Terry Moran on ABC News: "Bush is Cheerleader in Chief"
Said just after the press conference ended. Moran also said that Bush's communications people were rolling their eyes during the press conference.

3. Rolling their eyes at Shrub or the press? I assume Shrub because that
must be embarrassing.

14. Maybe if Bush would allow stem cell research, seniors wouldn't have
such bad memory problems.

Asshole!

4. Didn't W say that KARL was in the room?
I thought I heard that. Karl was trying to say out of sight for a while no longer I guess.

7. I always think of him as Cheney's First Lady.
Edited on Wed Jan-26-05 11:18 AM by July
Seriously.

Think about it. He doesn't really work or bother his "pretty" little head about details of "his" policies. He has a very short work day and week. He does a lot of photo ops, and enjoys the dress-up and schmoozing parts of his job, but not the rest (you know, the "hard work"). It's important to him to have time off, get back to his "home" in Crawford frequently, and look good. Even as a First Lady, he's lousy.

His wife, the supposed First Lady, does absolutely nothing, as far as I can tell. Does she even have a pet cause as most of them do? If she does, she's doing lousy PR for it. I'll give her two points for being able to speak better than he does.

I'm editing to say that the First Lady model I'm presenting here is the one that seems to be popular -- the smile, look pretty, and support your spouse without question or comment version. I'd prefer a much different type of First Spouse.

12. They laugh now, during the day
They laugh during the day for their short follow-up report when very few people see them. Tonight on the nightly report, Moran will be all business, seriously reporting "what the President said." There might (and I stress might) be an indication that Stupidhead is full of beans, but it will be no more than a hint, and there will certainly be no laughing or ridicule or (God forbid) outright contradiction of what Stupidhead said.
