Leadership and our future, and politicos
(It was posted on a thread but it deserves discusion on its own, as well as expansion)

Remember folks when you see them votes in Congress, you must remember: Politicos follow, they do not lead

So if any of you is expecting any leaderhip from politicos you will be disapointed...every time.

I know all of you want your country back. So here is the question, do you want it bad enough? If you do, realize it will take YOU and ME and many other doing many a things... some or all, but we need to realize that we have crossed the line of departure. Those of you who have served know exactly what this means, for those of you who have never served.. this is the point where all we are now in combat.

So what are the actions all of you need to consider?

Demonstrating: They are great to energize the base and do some networking, but because they are not going to be covered by the stenography press, don't expect them to make much difference. Though this is grassroots and the press did not cover labor revolts in the begining either.

Infitrating the Democractic party, going to meetings, getting elected to local offices. Everybody complains how badly the DNC is doing, well I have a question, how many of you atended, yes ATTENDED local party office elections and RAN? This is how you infiltrate the party, yuo run and you get elected for public office or party office, and you remain involved. Speaking off, thanks to Dean, he is running for DNC... write a letter to the editor of your local paper in suport of Dean... not because he is the best man, he is an outsider... he wants us to infiltrate the party to save it. And if you are not willing to do infiltrate the party, don't complain when the DLC pushes it further to the right... the future and the power to change the party is in your hands, realize this is easily a 20 year strategy.

You want your country back? It will take YOU AND ME... and everybody on this board. Don't expect Hillary to lead, or any of them... they are too invested in this crossing of the rubicon. As is the American republic that the Founding Fathers envisioned is DEAD.... but they also left us some other guidance for this moment in history... read the preface of the declaration of Independence, or Jeferson's words on trees, liberty and watering such trees.

We are at that moment that they surely knew would come, from their reading of Roman History... so it is up to us to decide do we want it bad enough? If we do... it may very well mean personally watering those trees.
