anyone notice?
how the "liberal media" has shuffled the story of the deaths in iraq to the bottom of the deck, since the train wreck story?

1. True to form, aren't they?
It's the scandal of my lifetime (I'm OLD), something I never thought I'd see - the complete abdication of responsibility of the media in affairs of government.

I'm OldLeftieLawyer, but I'm starting to think that these assholes have also given up their right their Constitutionally-guaranteed freedom to protect sources.

(I cannot believe I just typed that.)

4. maybe it will take the military families standing up and
asking the pertinant questions to georgie porgie and rummy and the others and yelling to the press with their broken hearts --- before the proper attention is given to the Iraq problems and all the fractured lives it is and has created here at home.

My heart goes out to all the families of all of our men and women in the military. They are the ones who pay the highest price and hats off to all the primary care givers and heads of household holding down the home front here while their loved ones are away doing georgie porgie's business.

5. Iraq is depressing. Fatal train wrecks are better for the kids watching...
Like there are millions of 3 year olds sitting around watching hours of Headline News.

If it bleeds it leads...wait...if it bleeds on American soil it leads.
