They know it's coming - right wing radio getting nervous |
|
Sean Hannity was whining today, "Condi was called a liar, they disgraced themselves with their partisanship, Condi is brilliant, Condi is wonderful, the liberals are phony, they used to care about dead Iraqis, 300,000 of them in mass graves, but they don't even care about dead people any more." But here's the kicker:
"When I say I need you 3 hours a day, now more than ever, I am being very sincere here when I say these people (us) are just watching and waiting to jump on the president and totally discredit him so he will have no power to do anything" (last part is paraphrased)
They know we are watching, they know they are crooked, they know there is a TON of stuff out there (how much have you been paid, Hannity???) and they know it is only a matter of time.

I think the blogs have forced the MSM to pay attention to a number of issues which they would have otherwise closed their eyes to.

Suspect a lot of that is going around. How many of these RW radio hosts have THAT in their skeleton closet, and are hearing it rattling around there at night?

24. Mr. "I don't lust after other women" hit on a friend of mine repeatedly. |
|
Years ago, Hannity worked for WGST in Atlanta, while she worked for rival station WSB. They had to negotiate a deal over the phone for sharing some guests. Through two phone conversations, Hannity--who was already married at the time--did practically nothing but ask this woman if she was "a babe" (she is, but still).
"I hear you're a babe. Are you a babe?"
Now, normally, I wouldn't think that's a very big deal. A bit piggish, but not something out of the realm of normal behavior in an industry that is dominated by men. But for about a year, I rode to work with someone who listened to his show every day, and I distinctly remember an episode in which he was criticizing a guest who owned an explicit magazine (I don't remember which one). The man asked Hannity if he could honestly say that he never looked at or lusted after other women besides his wife, and Hannity firmly stated that he never did.
If he can lie that casually about something as small as that, imagine the other things he's lied about. Sean certainly has some skeletons in his closet.

And DU of course. They need the DLC to block them from taking control of the party. Moveon is campaigning for Dean and the Clintons are against him. If we get control of this the right will get creamed and they know it. I love it. Rush was whining today too.

is willing to pursue and report the truth. So far no critical mass of MSM have done so. The control of the media is what protects * and nothing else. The truth is reported at times and lies to discredit it are seen as legitmate arguments. The SS issues is an example of this. The SS issue is not a matter of opinion it is a mathematical reality. It is not relevant to ask people how they view it. It is relevant to get the real numbers and publish them along with the possible scenarios related to these numbers. There is truth out there and it should be defended not spun.

"Now more than ever, three hours a day..."
That man makes me want to vomit. Sometimes I listen to him, if I'm in my car when he's on. I'm in Houston, the only way I get AAR is streaming over the web. I hate this guy, I scream at him. I do think that's important to hear what they are saying, so I do it every now and then. Then, I go take a shower.

the chimp sounded awful(ly) testy today.the wheels are coming off. get your local media to cover the iraq massacre honestly, if possible. if not set up protests outside the media doing your own leafletting with facts and other resources. tons of cash is at this very moment being shifted out of US banks and into other accounts. the record (again) deficits can only remain propped up if overseas investments give uncle sam his tithe. many conditions are coming together. tricky dicky cheney makes tricky dicky nixon look like a saint. stop the 80 billion additional slush money to halliburton-bechtel.

Hannity didn't exactly refute Condi being called a liar, did he?
The Rs control every fucking branch of the government. They have an overwhelming advantage in the amount of talk-radio hosts. And they have a blatantly partisan cable news network (and another only slightly veiled) to, essentially, call their own.
They're still not happy.

With Iraq ooking like a Sams Club Butchery this week, they should be freaking right out. The Iraq Civil war is starting, folks, and we've got a front row seat.
