This day sucked.
Two school bus crashes, helicopter crash, commuter train crash, Kentucky oil spill.

Did Nostradamus predict any of this...it seems like the world is going to hell today.

Oh, as icing on the cake, they swore in the Condiliar.

The only good thing was the guy that they found in the morgue alive when he started breathing right before his autopsy.

1. They say Jan. 24 is the most depressing day
of the year, but maybe it's just part of the most depressing week.

6. hmmm
I think the news item a few days ago meant every year,

but with * freshly sworn it, I'd say this is a mega-depressing week...

4. I haven't checked the astrology group lately
but I agree - today for the world sure did suck, not as much as December 26, by a long shot though.

7. true, I thought of that when I posted this.
but it seems to be just a plethora of bizarre and fucked up unrelated things at once, rather than one event.

5. We persuaded several senators
to wake up and act like democrats.

Our pressure is having an effect. This is momentum that took the GOP several decades to achieve. We couldn't stop Condi, but now more of congress is on the PEOPLE'S side. And watch what's happening to Bush's pollution bill. Republicans turning against Republicans. Sweet.

8. It was delightful when Barbara Boxer put up the photo of Rumsfeld
and Saddam shaking hands AFTER he had used chemical weapons against the Iranians... ya know, when Rummy was seeking fully normalized diplomatic relations with the evildoer. Sick bastards.

10. It surely was, but it would have been better if it had been
on the nightly news. I heard the chamber was empty except for one Republican who was playing with his palm pilot, or whatever it is they call those things now days.
