9. I'm 25 and my little bro graduated H.S. and it's getting pretty bad!
Worse than when I was in H.S. It's gettin to the point of just being sick-stuff that's becoming "normal"- for 7th, 8th, 9th graders-mostly girls-hooking up with older guys.

3. Sorry. I'm 65... no teens and no sex...
... Hey, I'm just kidding about the latter. We are officially still tryin' ... but right now, I'm getting ready for a colon test... but that's TMI (too much information) for DUers.

I like Katie Couric. Hope my colonoscopy is as pretty and uneventful as hers was.

6. Best to you on your test. Glad you are still trying. I always think of tha
term (still trying) as trying to get pg. Guess because my daughter has a problem getting pg the first time.

25. Yeah. I had the sigmoid test last month... all OK...
but told the doctor Katie said having a sigmoidoscopy (lower colon) without colonoscopy (full colon) is like doing a mammogram on ONE BREAST. The doc then related the information that a recent patient had a negative sigmoid test, but then a colonoscopy revealed cancer in the cecum (where large colon attaches to small intestine).

I have a lot to say about unnecessary tests, but I'm gonna go through this one because I think it's important.

I HATE Katie Couric. She's just another whore. Trying to make it seem like Bill Clinton is responsible for a 14-year-old girl giving a blowjob. Absolutely irresponsible of her.

21. Give me a fucking break! Like oral sex was unheard of before Clinton.
Man that Lewinsky was really an innovator. Who would have ever thought of using the mouth for sexual gratification? Oh yeah, maybe every porn movie ever made, most of the rap CD's I own, countless references to it on TV, movies, and any other form of popular and classical culture, etc!

I hate these fucking media whores!

29. Get real!! Teens have been knowing about and having oral sex and
anal sex back when I was in school. They just didn't damn talk about it! Most of the wise girls knew if you didn't want to get pregnant (which next to being a witch to burned at the stake) you engaged in oral or anal sex. It was birth control nobody talked about. Of course there were always the "nice girls" that guys wouldn't dare approach with shit like that. But believe me, Clinton didn't learn about oral sex from Monica. He probably learned it back there in Arkansas where he went to grade school. The stuff makes me laugh. To hear people behave like they are so damn modest and aghast about sex among kids.

19. Disgusting
Kids younger than 16 having sex should be illegal.

Our culture has become far too open - anything goes.

Unregulated free markets are dangerous; they allow our most base Darwinian instincts to take over and to destroy.

22. so should I be in jail? :-)
I first had sex when I was 14. And that was 14 years ago. Between 14 and 16 I had sex a lot of times. A lot. I am now a married man with two children and what is generally termed, "a productive member of society."

I think I turned out okay. :-)

24. You're missing the big picture.
It's always easy to discount rules against something by citing one case here or there (subjective focus).

In order to do what's best for society as a whole, it's neccesary to look at what's going on in the big picture (objective focus).

Just as an individual could do great in an unregulated economic free market and claim he/she was not doing anything wrong, an individual in an unregulated mating "free market" could do the same. It is the effect on the whole that is the concern, not neccesarily any one individual.

Like money, sex is a very important resource (even more important than money) that controls the balance of power between men, between women, between men and women. It's effect on human beings (both individually and as a group) is profound.

31. If you think its okay to have sex at fourteen, I hope your two kids
never tell you what they do when you're not looking. I'm rather tired of men/boys thinking sex at that age is okay. For girls it can be a death sentence. The possibility of cancer increases at that age. Besides, guys say they are 'boys being boys' while girls are 'sluts'. Its BS and I'm tired of it.

26. So how would you propose to stop them?
They are at their horniest and most curious, and some of them are gonna do it, no matter what. The other thing about teenagers is that they are more likely to do something if you tell them they can't. If sex is illegal for people under 16 (and it is in most states, if one of the participants is over 18), would you throw thousands of teenagers in jail just for fucking? Sorry, but that's just nuts.

30. It is for sure a bigger problem today
than it used to be though.

When I was in junior high school in the mid-seventies there weren't people having oral sex in the bathroom, or I never heard of it happening if it did.

Now, I do retirement plans for schoolteachers and they tell me it happens all the time.

They also tell me the buses are a big problem too.

Maybe it happened when I was a kid too, but I really never heard of it, and I had never heard of oral sex when I was in junor high school either.

Things are not the same as they've always been.

27. The FUNNIEST part of this was the way they advertised on AAR
During Randi, no less. You can tell they have no idea to market to anyone listening to talk radio who isn't a false moralizing, projecting ultraconservative. I remember one of the lines: "And if you don't think YOU sound like one of the parents we're talking about, then YOU need to WATCH: the 411!"

Oh, my sweet jayses! The chillins is havin secks! Lord almighty have mercy!
