The Top 25 jobs for 2005
It appears that unless you have a couple of grad degrees, or maybe a PhD. or two...or you happen to be Julia Roberts, or Tiger...you might be screwed.

This is the most fucked up list I have ever seen:

3. top job?
I'm in job 2. There are 100 applicants at least for every stable job. You have to get grants to pay your salary and to keep your job. I spend 80% of my time begging. They are cutting the NIH budget to pay for Iraq, and only the top 15% or so of proposals get funded. It's rare to be able to choose where you'll live. Not so great anymore.

6. Ehh, they lost my respect with two items
First, saying when compliling this list, they relied heavily on data from the Bureau of Labor and Statistics. Well, we have all observed how much this misadministration loves to cook the books, thus I regard any governmental numbers as suspect. This suspision was confirmed when they start including jobs such as computer software engineer and systems analysts. I guess that they haven't heard that a lot of those jobs are either being outsourced to India, and being filled with foreign workers here on H1-B visas who are doing the job for much less.
