This morning on my local CBS affiliate there was a "report from Washington" by some female reporter. She reported that the "the crash of the helicopter in Iraq which killed 31 Marines and 1 sailor was still under investigation and the EXACT CAUSE WAS UNKNOWN. This was the worse ACCIDENT involving American troops so far in this war."


This is what we have come to. This is now what we are.

"Most Iraqis are glad we are here, but most of them want us to leave."

1. Can you think of a more absurd mission for the US post 9-11

than to commit our entire armed forces to a never-ending war in order to make the US safe by ensuring Iraqis get the right to vote, by bombing them relentlessly?
