How soon will we the U.S. be out of Iraq?
Poll at the St Petersburg Times thought I'd share:

Iraq, the vote
How soon will we the U.S. be out of Iraq?

There's no end in sight 429 votes - 56%
In 2-5 years 235 votes - 31%
In 10 years 58 votes - 8%
Within a year 45 votes - 6%
Total: 767 votes

My daughter-in-law recently asked me, "Won't the troops all be coming home after the Iraq election?". I have no idea where she got that information, but apparently 45 out of 767 taking the poll are thinking the same thing.

3. It's a long time Bush pledge
After the Iraqi election we pull out (well probably set up a base or two, I guess). I don't know what to think of that--the suspicious side of me thinks he wants most of the troops out of there because he wants to put them in Iran. But I could be wrong.

4. Push poll - assumes we will leave at some point. I say we never will.
We're building the biggest American embassy ever, and we built 14 bases to replace the ones closed In Saudi Arabia (per business-partner Osama's request).

We are never leaving Iraq.

When I found the poll that's what it was sitting at. Not sure where it's at right now, though.

There's no end in sight 429 votes - 56%

On edit:
Never mind. The poll has been changed to

there's no time for this kind of useless speculation when we've still got this big old pile of freedom that needs spreadin'.
