MSNBC's "Question of the Day" makes me want to hurl.
"Do you think having a free election in Iraq is in itself a victory?"

What a misleading question.
I guess I could answer it if we actually were having one.

8. I'd say yes too
And if they ever get to have one, where they've chosen their candidates by popular consent, or at least known their names and their stance on the issues, I would be happy for them.

This sham they are about to go through the motions on in a few days doesn't count though.

It would be a victory for the Iraqi people and not for the U.S., however.

Americans should be nothing but ashamed of the mess we caused there.

5. Did they hire that guy away from CNN?
You know who I mean, the one that came up with those witless polls that said absolutely nothing, or supported Stupid no matter how they were answered.

Enquiring minds want to know.

9. too much blood was spent to call the election "free"
this election is anything but free. Just ask any family member, both in the US and in Iraq, who has lost a loved one.

10. If it means we can bring our boys home next week, yes.
If it doesn't mean that, its a loss no matter what happens with the voting.
